Course Content (Syllabus)
The course traces the major milestones in the development of Special Education, from segregated teaching to full inclusion both in Greece and worldwide, by bringing together the practices of normalization, integration and inclusive education in different countries on the basis of their teaching and educational policy trends. Positioned and discussed within the newly developed field of bilingual education the course also makes references to the stigma of double disability in minority children with disabilities and their inclusion.
