Learning Outcomes
Student will gain a broad understanding of cognitive dysfunctions and the disorders in which they manifest. Also, they will be in a position to select types of neuropsychological tests to assess particular disorders.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course covers methods and tests for the assessment of higher cognitive functions (attention, memory, language, perception, executive functions, conceptualization, construction abilities) and personality in the context of a neuropsychological assessment. It focuses on the utility of a wide range of tests for particular diagnoses. Emphasis is also placed on the theoretical background of the pathophysiology of cognitive deficits and the empirical evidence supporting the usefulness of the tests.
