Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will:
-has realized that along with their scientific specialization, their pedagogical training is also necessary (such as crisis management, development of socially acceptable behaviors, improvement of the learning process),
- have realized that their effectiveness in educational work will depend directly on the human communication they will develop with their students in the classroom and at school,
- have become aware of fundamental issues of the modern globalized learning society (such as human and democratic rights, the fight against gender inequality, racism, poverty, illiteracy),
- know the ways and the importance of the examination, the grading and the evaluation of the school process, as well as the internal and external motivations that lead the students in learning and improving their biliary performance.
Course Content (Syllabus)
A) Aim of this course is to examine the subject of education of teachers in all the dimensions. More analytically are examined the following subjects: the curriculum, the international tendencies, the role of teacher today, the theoretical scientific education, the pedagogic training (aid of desirable behavior and learning, prevention and management of crises, stιl of teaching, interactivity between teacher-student, conditions of effective teaching), the instructive training, the Practical Exercise (definition, necessity, models, organisation, conduct and evaluation), the Practical Exercise in Greece and in other countries of European Union, content of study and values, the training (institution, aim, models and ways).
B)Moreover in the same course are examined the following subjects that concern the pedagogical training of teachers: Communication, Management of crises, Evaluation.
