Learning Outcomes
The purpose of the module is to provide students with: a) core insights regarding the content and the determinants of work behavior, and b) special knowledge and practices for the effective leadership in the context of contemporary educational environment.
Course Content (Syllabus)
The human factor is the most valuable resource for the effectiveness and development of every organization and in particular educational organizations. The educational literature focuses on issues that are related to work behavior, the roles and the development of educators in the school environment. Every educator, and especially when he/she exerts management in a school unit, needs to know how to lead, inspire, contribute to the formation of a team culture, and cope with potential conflicts in order to promote organizational justice.
