Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to: 1. identify the characteristics of multicultural societies, the dimensions of identity 2. use creatively in their class the concepts of identity, culture, diversity and multiculturalism a 3. successfully manage a multilingual / multicultural class by using the appropriate pedagogical and didactic strategies. 4. contribute to the prevention of xenophobic and racist perceptions, attitudes and attitudes in the school, but also wider society. 5. get familiar with the content and understanding of the development frameworks of digital literacy and its role in foreign language. 6. get training in the design and evaluation of teaching activities and interventions for the development of digital literacy of EFL learners.

Course Content (Syllabus)
This course analyzes the central features and the pedagogical dimensions of modern multiculturalism while presenting models of diversity management at school. It aims at avoiding exclusion mechanisms for people with different socio-cultural backgrounds. The course also discusses the concept and characteristics of digital literacy as the practical approach to the teaching of knowledge and skills related to digital literacy in the foreign language.
