Learning Outcomes
Students will a) explore the morphological, semantic and pragmatic content of Word Formation Rules of Modern Greek; b) gain an insight into the phonological, morphological, semantic and pragmatic properties of Greek suffixes; c) learn to investigate morphological issues and d) be trained in presenting a dissertation to an audience with the use of new technologies.

Similarities and differences between inflection and derivation - introduction to the theory of Constructional Morphology of D. Corbin, application to denominal adjectives of Modern Greek (adjectives constructed by the application of a suffix to a noun base).
