Course Content (Syllabus)
(α) Introduction to seismology, seismic hazard and risk, dynamic soil properties and seismic ground response, seismic codes. (b) Landslides: Understanding the mechanisms and the causes of landslides, general concept of the design of mitigation measures against landslides (c) Floods: Understanding floods and their impact on build and physical environment, general concepts of the design of mitigation measures against floods.
