Course Content (Syllabus)
Advanced topics on (a) preliminary conceptual design of earthquake-resistant building structures, (b) modeling of multistory buildings and (c) Seismic analysis according to current seismic design codes (equivalent static, response spectrum, nonlinear static and nonlinear dynamic analysis methods).Uncertainty quantification, Response variability and reliability of structures with uncertain parameters.
