Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course the graduate student will realize that the skills of communication:
a) contribute to building the therapeutic alliance between doctor-dentist / patient-client.
b) facilitate patient compliance in the treatment and prophylaxis.
c) ensure a higher level of patient satisfaction, less fear, less complaints.
d) helps identify the way in which the various psychosocial features interfere with the doctor/patient relationship, affecting both decisions and management of error and crisis.
