After successfully attending the course the postgraduate student should be capable of: • Distinguishing the various types of pollutants and the degrees of groundwater pollution. • Understanding the transport mechanisms of the pollutants in aquifers and the importance of the natural and chemical parameters and processes. • Dealing with and solving problems related to the protection of groundwater • Applying restoration methods and techniques of groundwater for various types of pollutants and aquifers.
