Learning Outcomes
Students will obtain theoretic knowledge and technical skills on image-video capturing, processing and management, including graphics design: - Image, photography and video principles - Image acquisition technology and methods - Graphics design, animations - Image and video processing - editing - Video and multimedia content management - Video and multimedia broadcasting
Course Content (Syllabus)
- Light and imaging: photography and photoelectric transduction - Lenses, lighting, photographic and video cameras - Color, video quality - BAUHAUS Basics: Point-Line-Level-Form-Pattern-Space. - Image and Video Scene Composition, Artistic Composition examples. - Color: Color Systems-ITTENs Color Cycle-Complementary colors- Contrary Colors-Color Contrast-Quantitative Changes. - Television production - High definition and 3D video - Digital video processing - Video and audiovisual content management, content-based analysis and multimedia semantics - Video compression and video content delivery (broadcasting-webcasting, streaming), user interaction, personalized services
