Course Content (Syllabus)
Authentic texts of different genres of Pharmacy on the following topics: Adrenocorticoids, Topical Glucocorticoids, Inhaled and Intranasal Glucocorticoids, Pharmaceutical Proteins, Characteristics of phytomedicines, The human nervous system, Peripheral nervous system, Autonomic nervous system, Chemical anatomy – Cholinergic transmission, Adrenergic transmission, Mechanisms involved in the induced differentiation of leukemia cells - ARTICLE ( I ) Abstract – Introduction, (II) Conventional cancer chemotherapy: successes,failures and obstacles, (III) Induction of differentiation and apoptosis in leukemic cells. The texts are followed by Pre-reading activities, Activities following skimming or scanning, Detailed-reading questions, Vocabulary learning activities and writing activities.
