Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course students will be able: - A thorough examination and interpretation of specific topics of the foundations of the Christian faith, on the basis of the life and the cultural records of the Church (Christian literature and art). - Τhe research and study of the faith and life of the Church community in its timeless path and synodal formulations of Orthodox dogma, with Triadology and Theology at its center, as well as the dogma of creation and the Fall of Man. - Specific issues concerning Triadology are presented, interpreted and discussed, on the basis of the Church Fathers and the approaches of contemporary theologians to themes related to the Holy Trinity and faith of the ecclecial community.

Course Content (Syllabus)
DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE:Specific issues concerning Triadology are presented, interpreted and discussed, on the basis of the Church Fathers and the approaches of contemporary theologians to themes related to the Holy Trinity and faith of the ecclecial community. SCHEDULE OF LECTURES: 1) The existence of God in charismatic and academic theology. 2) Theology and Economy: Eternal self-manifestation and historical revelation of the Holy Trinity. 3) The Theophanies and Divine signs (θεοσημείες) in creation and in history. 4) Theological knowledge of God and the dialogue with contemporary atheism. 5) On mystical theology. Apophatism and kataphatic theology. 6) Unions and distinctions in the Trinitarian theology on the basis of written works of recent theologians. 7) The Trinitarian character of Orthodox Pneumatology and the consequences of erroneous Pneumatology in contemporary theology. 8) The dogma of creation in dialogue with the modern Physics. 9) Original sin, the problem of Evil and the consequences of its misinterpretation. 10) Theology and Ecology. The relation of God, creation and Man as a proposal for interpreting and facing the ecological problem. 11) The interpretation of Trinitarian dogma as basis of dialogue with questions and challenges from the Humanities. 12-13) Presentation, conversation and critical examination of the essays by postgraduate students.
