Course Content (Syllabus)
Steel under earthquake: stability versus ductility.Τhe basic structural systems of multi-storey buildings in steel(moment-resisting frames, concentrically braced frames, eccentrically braced frames).Seismic behaviour of connections. Analysis and design of steel tanks and silos. Analysis and design of masts and flexible structures.
