Course Content (Syllabus)
Organic (biological) farming. Integrated farming systems. Biodynamic farming. Comparison between conventional and alternative farming systems. Biological pest control. Soil and alternative farming systems. Energy balances, greenhouse gases, carbon footprint and alternative farming systems. Biodiversity and alternative farming systems. Management and processing of animal manure - Fertilization. Special topics - Case studies.
