Learning Outcomes
At the end of the semester the students will be able to: 1. Comprehend and practice alternative narrative forms. 2. Understand the emotional theme in the screenplay and ability to use it as a structure element. 3. Comprehend the distinction between classical/alternative narrative forms.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction to the alternative forms of narration , linear or non linear narrative construction. The course examines the dramatical system and the development through the thematical core . Multiple characters , switch of the main character, different points of view, narration through different episodes , narration through different episodes with a passive character , narration with reversed time line , circular narration , narration based on the emotional theme. The theory of the course is combined with film analysis and writing exercises( step out line and characters)

The final evaluation is according the below: 1. The written test at the end of the semester 50% 2. the active participation at the courses 10% 3. the written assignments/exercise during the semester 40%
