Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the module, students will be able to determine the genre of their film, to locate its stylistic characteristics, to create the mood board, to scout locations, to stage and shoot a scene using the possibilities of the set and the available equipment.

Course Content (Syllabus)
From premise to script. The genre, the theme and the controlling idea. How the film style affects the coverage, acting, photograph, suits, stage design, sound design, editing and the music score. The creation of the Mood board. Complex coverage, and ways of moving camera. Shot patterns. The creative use of keyframes. The staging of a shot in shallow or deep spaces.

Student Assessment
Description
During the semester should be handled a personal assignment worth of 30% on final assessment. It should be presented as an oral exam (pitch with power point) and should be related with a future student’s project. During exam session should be handled the final version of your assignment (the developed version of the personal assignment) and it should include: 1. Written essay (with director’s approach, Word form) 2. Moodboard (PDF form) 3. Mood reel (Digital archive MP4) Each one of the three units, parts of the final work, is worth 23,3% on final grade
