Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. posess a basic knowledge of the mechanisms involved in the digestion, absorption and metabolism of nutritive substances in farm animals.
2. evaluate the current literature concerning the understanding of nutritive value of feedstuffs and the nutrient requirement of farm animals.
