Learning Outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with a solid understanding and knowledge of Family Law. The students who successfully attend the course shall be able to reason and to solve legal cases on issues which refer to the materials covered in the course.

Course Content (Syllabus)
General Introduction to Family Law, the basic characteristice of damily law and of family law rights.- The engagement.- THE MARRIAGE: The conclusion of marriage,positive requirements and impedements, the defective marriage,the annulment of marriage and its consequences.- Personal and property relations of the spouses during marriage, personal and property relations of the spouses during separation, divorce (contested divorce, divorce by mutual consent) and the results of divorce.- RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PARENTS AND CHILDEN: Establishment of paternal and maternal descent, medically assisted human reproduction, parental care, adoption.- Legal obligation for maintenance.- Tutelage of minors and adult protection regimes ("judicial assistance").
