Learning Outcomes
The objective is the understanding of modern wireless sensor networks, introducing the concept of the "Internet of Things". The student understands the specificities of those networks with respect to their topology, their energy requirements, and message routing. Moreover, he understands the relationship between information and required transmission rate, under the energy-constraints of the system. Finally, modern localization techniques, exploiting power and/or time (phase) measurements, are introduced.
Course Content (Syllabus)
