Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course students will be in a position to:
1. Apply the uncertainty principle and the principle of quantum superposition to explain qualitatively simple quantum systems
2. Solve Schrödinger equation for simple one dimensional potentials and for a central three dimensional potential.
3. Apply the above in the case of the Hydrogen atom.
4. Find the electronic structure of the elements and their position in the periodic table.
