Learning Outcomes
Before the completion of this course each student: 1) Should be able to understand and display knowledge on sound technology systems, and audio recording devices and techniques. 2) Should be able to display practical skills in sound recording of musical instruments 3) Must carry out a record of a musical performance himself.

Description
Both instruction and students’ practice are conducted in a fully-equipped recording studio with full facilities for audio recording (microphones, sound console, desktop audio systems etc.).

Student Assessment
Description
Students' assessment is performed gradually during the semester in three stages, after the completion of three corresponding lab projects. At the end of the semester an additional oral examination is performed where students are required to answer a number of questions on theoretical topics and demonstrate practical skills on sound recording.
