Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:

Course Content (Syllabus)
1-2 hours. Demonstration of protozoan parasites of pigs, horses and carnivores. Giemsa demonstration of microscopic preparations.
3-4 hours. Macroscopic demonstration of trematodes and cestodes of pigs, horses and carnivores.
6-5 hours. Faecal sedimentation method (Teleman), identification of reproductive elements of parasites of pigs, horses and carnivores.
7-8 hours. Macroscopic demonstration of nematodes of pigs, horses and carnivores.
9-10 hours. Flotation method (Faust), identification of reproductive elements of parasites of pigs, horses and carnivores.
11-12 hours. Digestion method, Graham method, modified Knott method.
13-14 hours. Macroscopic demonstration of arthropods of pigs, horses and carnivores.
15-16 hours. Extra laboratory practice
