Learning Outcomes
Objective The acquaintance of students with terms and concepts mentioned in the description of the course. The objective is also the synthetic and inclusive outline of different and differing, sometimes contradictory, views and not the creation of a false - and dangerous - impression of the existence of a one and only methodology for common - and uncritical-use.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Syllabus This introductory seminar, which discusses the most problematic perhaps capital of Literature (the poetic narrative), will attempt to combine theoretical reflection and practical applications, in order to relief the close connection between theory, method, and verification. Applications will be in prose passages, mainly texts from Greek and foreign-language fiction. The seminar will also present the issues of the narrator, space, time, speech and the recipient of storytelling.
