2. Introduction to the Naturalism. The French Naturalism (E.Zola, G De Maupasssant) - The reception of the Naturalism in the italian and greek literature - The italian Verism and the writers - The greek Ithografy and the writers.

Student Assessment
Description
Student performance is assessed with a final oral examination, in which each student presents the paper he wrote during the semester under the tutor’s supervision, and is questioned on the entire programme. Students who plan to attend class regularly have the option of taking two progress tests during the semester; if successful, they are relieved of the final exam.
