Course Content (Syllabus)
The course will provide mainly practice in the use of modern English in the academic environment. Students will be given in class photocopies of English texts from journals, books, the Web etc, which will serve as the basis of our linguistic analysis and practice. The texts cover current social, political and cultural issues, and also provide an introductory approach to English phonology.
