Course Content (Syllabus)
Eukaryote Genetics. Mendel Principles. Chromosomal Theory of Inheritance. Sex-Linked Inheritance. Sex determination. Extensions of mendelism. Genotype-Phenotype. Genetic interactions and environment. Linkage in diploid Organisms. Gene mapping. The basis of mutation mechanisms. Cytogenetics - Variarion in chromosome number and structure.
