Knowledge The students will be able to • Understand basic concepts of research documentation. • Understand interpretive models in disability research. • Get to know the main characteristics of children from different diagnostic categories, through research analysis. • To get acquainted with empirically documented teaching practices that can implement in special education. • To get acquainted with basic questions in the field of research and the application of special education. Skills The students will be able to • Identify the implications of research data in the design and implementation of special education. • Collect research articles on current issues of special education. • Interpret the relevant research literature. • Demonstrate critical thinking on multiple axes.
