Learning Outcomes
Students, that have finished their 8th semester, get a placement in co-operating institutions of the private sector (industries, enterprises, organizations, technical offices etc.) in order to familiarize themselves with aspects of their future occupation. The duration of the placement is 8 weeks and takes place in July and August.

Student Assessment
The business/industry employs students under the supervision of an engineer or other scientist and a Professor or Lecturer of the Department. The supervisor on behalf of the private sector partner assigns appropriate tasks to the student and submits an evaluation report at the end of the training program. The student also submits a technical report related to his / her work to the Department, which is evaluated by the supervising Professor. The internship may be declared as a course and counts towards the partial fulfilment requirements for the degree.
