Course Content (Syllabus)
Kinematics of particles, Kinetics of particles (Newton’s and Euler’s laws of motion, principles of impulse and momentum, principles of work and energy), Kinematics of rigid bodies (translation, pure rotation, plane motion, rotation about a fixed point, spatial motion, relative motion), Kinetics of rigid bodies (inertia tensor, Newton’s and Euler’s laws of motion, principles of impulse and momentum, principles of work and energy, inertia forces), Applications.
