Learning Outcomes
Objectives and intended learning outcomes are defined aiming that the students up on completion of the module:
• are aware of the theoretical knowledge regarding structures, functions of the oral cavity and oral diseases.
• are familiar with the theoretical background of both diagnostic and therapeutic skills and promote intercourse between General Medicine and oral diseases.
• are able to understand algorithmic approach of clinical problems and development of a differential diagnosis methodology. This is promoted by the fact that both the course and textbook are structured according to “symptom oriented” and “problem based learning” strategies.
• have developed a high clinical suspicion for serious or emergency problems or disorders connected to manifestations of systemic diseases.
• are able to perform clinical skills on evaluating oromaxillofacial area, organs and neighboring structures.
