General Prerequisites
After succesful completion of the course the medical student will be able: 1. To understand the development of the various structures of the Central and Peripheral Nervous System as well as of the Sensory System from Fetal to Neonatal Period, Infancy, Childhood and Adolescence 2. To be familiar with the basic conditions related to various domains of child development (pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment). 3. To have acquainted the basic clinical skills needed for the diagnosis of the above mentioned conditions (clinical examination, observation, interview etc.). 4. To be familiar with basic non-clinical tools (laboratory, radiology, neurophysiology, psychometric tests etc.) that are helpful in the diagnosis of the above conditions.
