α) know about historical facts of the time of Gregory Palamas, Archbishop of Thessaloniki, as well as aspects of the content of the speech "Ιn favor of the holy Hesychasts"
b) evaluate the contribution of Gregory Palamas, Archbishop of Thessaloniki, to the life of the Orthodox Church
