Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to capture the religious dimension of inter-religious and intercultural education and will have learned to incorporate it how to use it in areas where there is religious diversity. Students living and working within their local societies will be helped, as not only they will not feel uncomfortable in regard to religious diversity issues but they will also turn into capable potential promoters of cooperation, social progress and understanding of heterogeneity and crisis management within the local and wider society. This goal goes beyond the educational community and creates responsible citizens who defend human rights and the parity of all people, regardless of religion, gender and language.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The interest of the course lies in the study the study of the basic principles of inter-religious education for the conduct of a proper and constructive dialogue between Christianity and Islam as well as of contemporary major world religions. Emphasis is placed both on the points of convergence and deviation of the principles of great religions to the fundamental principles of Muslim teaching about mutual understanding and the peaceful coexistence of peoples and the diachronic dialogue between the Eastern Christian Church and Islam.
