Learning Outcomes
Students are expected to be able to:
• understand the need for interdisciplinarity and the demand for open dialogue.
• Major ontological questions are processed, through the examination of the mystery of love, which together with the mystery of death, form the core of every culture and especially of Christianity.
• understand the need for affirmation of the "mystery" of scientific emptiness and recruitment, which paves the way for the acceptable end of any interpretive certainty and rest.
• interpret the intervening nature of dogmatic theology both for the whole of modern culture in general and for the Church in particular.
Course Content (Syllabus)
The discussion focuses on the painful issue of the sanctity and eroticism of the body, with the aim of highlighting the functionally ambiguous of the sacred eroticism and erotic sanctity of the ordinary person, the loving person, in the context of Orthodox anthropology. Certainty, data and self-evident are in doubt. The attempt to understand begins from the beginning, in order, through the palpation of forgotten paths of a wide tradition, but also of its dialogue with the values of a world that is constantly evolving, to highlight the way in which continuous ideological embankments hid from the field the vision of immediacy.
Keywords
Eros, agape, body, church, sex, sanctity, holy, profane.
