Learning Outcomes
After successfully completing the course,students students will: a) apply the learning theories to the teaching of the course b) apply the theories of instructional design in the preparation and implementation of the lesson in the classroom (c) develop learning strategies in the classroom according to the pupils' needs (d) apply classroom management techniques e) evaluate the importance of the family in the whole development of the personality of the student (f) be informed of diagnostic evaluation tests

Course Content (Syllabus)
Pedagogical Psychology applies psychological methods to the study of learning and teaching. During the course students will be trained in learning theories that can be applied in the teaching process on issues related to factors affecting the learning process, such as learning readiness, incentive role, reinforcement or pay, and the way in which the various teaching techniques and methods contribute to the transfer of learning, the effectiveness of the whole or partial method of learning in the preservation of information, the role of memory, the impact in the teacher's behavior to increase student performance, the importance of the teacher's ability to increase the academic year student learning, the teacher's expectations for the students etc.Students will be informed about effective ways of managing the classroom, tackling the learning difficulties faced by students, as well as communicating and interpersonal relationships between students and teachers.Finally, the course examines the methods and theories of Pedagogical Psychology, namely the cognitive, linguistic, psychosocial and moral development of the students through behavioral and socio-gnostic theories, emphasizing individual differences, memory, comprehension, metacognition, self-understanding and motivation of students.
