Learning Outcomes
The aim of the course is the familiarization of the postgraduate students with the basic principles of research (objectives, means, conduct and results) as well as the development of competences and skills for the communication and presentation of its results (written and oral presentation)
After successfully attending the course the postgraduate student should be capable of:
• Identifying the processes and the final approach to the design and implementation of a research study
• Accepting all ethical rules in conducting scientific research
• Efficiently carrying-out a literature survey
• Using terminology standards and glossaries and applying good practices in definition giving and term rendering
• Presenting the results of his research in oral and written form
• Selecting and composing his material for the presentation through transparencies and posters
