Course Content (Syllabus)
Identifying the genre and style of the film. Organizing the action of a scene in location. The function of a scene in the script and its significance. Coverage and point of view of a scene. Basic patterns for dialogue scenes. Rehearsals. The shooting.

Description
Student assessments Two written assignments should be handled each semester regarding the construction of a film scene in accordance with the film genre and the acting technique. First assignment: Written analysis of a film scene. The text should include: The film genre, the theme, the controling idea and the acting technique of the film in process. Director group approaching regarding the film processing including: 1.Scene in screenplay 2.Basic characteristics as film genre and acting style 3.Scene analysis according to acting technique Second assignment Presentation of the first assignment as acting rehearsal The two essays are worth 40% on the final grade. Exams The Film Director Group, after accomplished the desired result through intensive rehearsals, will shoot the selected film scene. Finally the film director group should film its work experience evaluation and deliver together with the filmed scene. This coursework worth 60% on final grade should be handled on exam day in digital form (MP4 archive). The plot and the shooting list of the scene should be included.
