Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course the students will acquire the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge, so they can teach methodically volleyball at school and in clubs at developement ages.
Course Content (Syllabus)
1. General coaching. The biological parameters.
2. The physical condition. The physiological basis of motion.
3. Properties of fitness and volleyball. Strength training - Speed - Endurance.
4. The technique and tactics.
5. Motivation. Will and attention. Exercises reinforcing willpower - attention.
6. Planning training. Frequency of training. Periods and cycles.
7. The training unit.
8. Written planning. Applied training program.
9. Specific issues: Talent identification.
10. Tests and measurements. The recording of the game.
11. Guidance-Coaching. Before, during and after the game.
12. Nutrition . Meals and their regulation. The day of the game.
13. Repetitions.
