Learning Outcomes
Acquisition of expertise, an important and necessary knowledge for the creation of casts, exact copies from a prototype model. Acquisition of an expanded knowledge with coninuous enrichment of techniques through new, modern materials of casting and production, facilitating the proccess of imprintment and transference of the initial preform to the plaster.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Knowledge of plaster casts from a repousse presentation or bust preform of clay. Construction and reproduction of plaster casts. Technology - practices of various materials and techniques. Extended practical exercise with continuous enrichment of techniques through new, modern materials of molding and reproduction.

Student Assessment
Description
The assessment οf the students performance is being done by the continuous observation of their knowledge, their daily precense at the art lab, as well as the course's final exams, which constitute the presentation of the final project, mold and final sculpture with plaster as a main material and is announced at the beggining of the semester by the instructor. The assessment's criteria for the course are indicated thoroughly at the department's study guide.
