Course Content (Syllabus)
Theory: Design and implement instrumentation systems, system specifications and hierarchical design. Study instrumentation systems based on temperature, humidity, pressure and flow sensors. Sensor interface (instrumentation amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, bridges, etc). Measurement automation and low-power features. Laboratory: Exercise on LabVIEW environment to manage of instrumentation systems (basic programming environment, monitor sensors connected to digital systems). Automated data acquisition from sensors, storage and visualization. Implement an autonomous sensor system.
