Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, students will be able to : • understand the Importance and Perspectives'of production of plant propagation material • the process of Plant reproductive systems • be know the use of the mechanisms controlling Male Sterility, self-Incompatibility and Apomixis in Seed Production • The process and particularities in seed production of species reproduced by Self and Cross-fertilization • Acquire knowledge in the process of Registration of plant varieties in national list and EU database/Plant varieties catalog • understand the importance of Control,Legislation and Marketing of Propagating Material in Cultivated Species • Acquire knowledge in Legislation of Plant Genetic Resources and Biotechnology products
