Learning Outcomes
Students understand the deep relationship of the child with theatre activities, and come into contact with its various and multifarious manifestations, its history and its current practice. More specifically, students acquire an academic background which is necessary and prolific in the context of TiE classes in the schools.
Course Content (Syllabus)
The history of children's theatre in Greece and abroad. The different genres of theater for children. Approaching the different kinds of children's theatre through the study of the composition of theatrical works. Theoretical opinions regarding children and theatre, and the critical approaches of corresponding theatrical productions. Exerices in creative writing.
