Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will be acquainted with the methodology of scientific research, as well as with the basic principles for the preparation of a scientific essay in Archaeology, Art and Culture.

Course Content (Syllabus)
In close collaboration with their supervisors, students familiarise themselves with the methods and tools of scientific research and the preparation of a scientific essay (for example bibliographical research, theoretical framework, synthesis, practice with original archaeological material etc.).

Description
Use of online databases - bibliographic, archaeological material, primary sources (e.g. Beazley Archive, CVA online) etc. Powerpoint presentation by the student during the oral presentation of the progress of his/her study at a postgraduate programme conference.
