Learning Outcomes
Students who have successfully completed the course are able to: - identify the special literary type of the letters of the New Testament, the particular features and keys of their readin. - apply methods of analysis and interpretation identifying the main points of the relevant subject matter. - Critically approach the history of the interpretation of the letters, as shaped by of the ancient united church to this day from the various Christian confessions, to understand the importance that letters have had and have on Christians.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course attempts to interpret the letters contained in the New Testament. Also atmemps to show the special features of the literary type of letters which are analyzed and the methods of their approach are presented. An exemplary analysis and interpretation of selected texts of the epistles is then followed. After the interpretation, the theological approach to the main themes of the letters is made, a brief description of their interpretation by the individual Christian confessions and, finally, their connection with our time.
