Course Content (Syllabus)
The subject of the dissertation is related to one or more subjects of the direction chosen by the student. It can also be related to subjects covering more than one area, as long as in the main part is related to the direction that the student has chosen.
Diploma thesis is assigned to a student or to a small group of students (not more than three), if the scope of work is demanding. The three-member committees for monitoring and examining the dissertations are appointed by the department, upon the proposal of the supervisors and with the approval of the Assembly of the Department.
In the dissertation, the student, with the help of the supervisor, identifies the objectives and the work plan that will follow. He will first have to explore the international literature and document the originality of the work. His work includes experimental, analytical or theoretical research. The bibliographic review and the results of the research are described in detail in the issue of the dissertation and are presented during the public examination.
