The course is structured in two parts:
1st Part: the aforementioned aspects are examined from a theoretical point of view. More precisely:
-Regarding the Formation aspect, it is explained why religious education is an indispensable part of the state school curriculum forming part of the General Education of pupils.
-In relation to the cultural aspect, the relationship between the subject of Religious Education and culture in general is analyzed, while the discussion topic is to what extent the indigenous cultural environment of the pupils can contribute to the cultivation of a meaning in their life and to the development of their critical thinking.
-Regarding the inspirational and creative aspects, a question is posed on which way students in Religious Education can gain not only new knowledge but also broaden their horizon of spiritual orientation. In other words, it deals with how Religious Education is able to bring inspiration to young people
2nd part, the students write and present their assignments and essays during the course. The aim of their work is to identify theological elements in musical works (i.e. music, painting, literature etc.) of their own preference; they also submit their own proposals regarding the teaching methodology that should be applied in order for these artworks to be integrated effectively into the teaching process of Religious Education.
