Learning Outcomes
With the successful completion of the course the students will be able to: -manage the Arabic alphabet and diacritics with relative ease -distinguish and pronounce particular sounds of Arabic with fewer errors -fully grasp the role of the diacritics and correct understanding of the grammatical and syntactic principles of the sentence as a prerequisite for reading and writing -recognize and correctly use more grammatical phenomena of the Arabic Language - classify new syntactic structures -read and write words and sentences -have small oral dialogues (discussion between student and teacher) -shows examples of the function of three-letters roots in Arabic -recognize a vocabulary of about 500 words in total and use in writing or orally a significant percentage of it

Course Content (Syllabus)
Continuation of the Modern Standard Arabic from the class Arabic I; it corresponds to the level of language competence A1. Special attention is paid to the understanding of basic principles of grammar and syntax that will allow correct reading and production of oral and written speech
