Course Content (Syllabus)
EP0 115 Karate Purpose: The teaching and presentation of basic techniques of the sport of karate. The provision of practical and theoretical knowledge and their application in competitions and generally the presentation of the art as self-defense. The practical training of students so that they can teach some of the basic techniques of karate to children. Modules: 1. Historical evolution. 2. Basic competition rules, terminology. 3. Basic stances. 4. Movements (from the basic stances). 5. Parries (blocks). 6. Parries with movement. 7. Punches (hits). 8. Movements with strikes). 9. Kicks. 10. Movements with kicks. 11. Combinations of techniques. 12. Techniques for competitions and self-defense techniques. 13. Kata (strictly standardized sequence of movements with imaginary opponent). Kata-Taikyoku Shodan, Kata-Heian Shodan (optionally).
