By the end of the course the students are expected to understand
-basic principles of the mechanism of musculoskeletal injuries
-basic principles of first aid but also the reasoning behind the treatment of orthopaedic injuries
-the potential of prevention thru exercise
-the therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation potential of exercise following and injury
-the optimal time of return to sport following an injury
